. Libya having been in the socialist bloc had no debt and the highest
growth rate in the region. Russia, China and Veitnam have some of the
best growth rates for the same reason.
Because Gaddafi preserved socialism after the socialist bloc
collapsed, Libya has the highest living standards in Africa: petrol is
0.14 cents a Litre, Food, Medicine and Housing are free for those that
need it and there is no poverty. Libya has the highest literacy rate
in North Africa of 82% while Chad is 35%. Most of the manual labour is
done by immigrants, Libyan citizens thus live in a modern utopia, the
Jamahiriya is a single party dictatorship which upholds direct
democracy of the Libyan people and the socialist economic foundation
of nationalization
