He's also got a solo tour coming up. https://linktr.ee/splitsingle

I just saw him with Superchunk last week and it was fine, but I prefer his solo gigs to most band's gigs.

Was the Superchunk show you saw acoustic? I’m seeing them on Friday for an acoustic show and am wondering if the whole tour is that way.

Got tickets for the first Chicago show for Michael and Jason in March. I am stoked about that one.

I suspect there will be no opening act on Friday. Doors open at 8 for a 9pm show and things tend to close down early around here. We’re considered a “semi-rural” and a summer season area so after Labor Day it can be pretty quiet. It’s also a very small place in an old gas station. It’ll be my first time at this venue so I guess I’ll see what’s up.

I’ll be there

I have a ticket for the Friday Michael and Jason show in Chicago. Not sure if I'll make it. Very much hope to. Seeing Superchunk at Riot Fest this weekend!

I was there as well. First time seeing Superchunk.  It was a great show despite the fact that Mac McCaughan looked and dressed exactly like my insurance agent.
