Spirit of Southern Bypass

Digital Survey by Sugam Sabuj Apartment Owners Association for owner's valuable opinion / suggestion Recently there has been a discussion going on with most of the housing societies around Southern By-Pass to form a consortium named “Spirit of Southern Bypass”, a very similar initiative like New Town Forum & News (NTFN) — a New Town-based social welfare organization (apolitical) which started couple of years back to work for the local developments, care and support for each other’s around New Town area. The primary agenda of SSB are the following: 1. Increasing the bonding between all housing society residents through Sports activities, Performing Arts events / competition, Carnivals, Inter complex Puja awards & competition etc 2. Development of the locality through a common voice – together makes us stronger 3. Philanthropic activities & social work 4. A common source off all local help & support The SSB will be an independent association and will not have any right or impact to the functions of any of the existing rules & regulations of the Housing Association whose member may part of his association. The SSB will be formed by the members who are the residents of all these housing societies only. There will be a Core or Governing Committee (7-member team) and an Executive Committee (single representation of each housing societies) to run the different initiatives by SSB. The inclusion of any housing societies in this consortium is purely voluntary and to take advantages or services offered by SSB in future. There might be some onboarding expenses or enrolments fees going forward to be included in this forum as an operating cost for SSB, which is not yet decided.

Thank you for your participation on this online survey. The survey is closed now.

We have received 51.9% responses (81 flat owners of Sugam Sabuj participated out of 156 flat owners).

We also received a lot of constructive feedback, suggestions & guidelines to implement.

Please find attached the document for your reference to find out the detailed analysis on the responses. However a quick result as follows:

·         Sugam Sabuj inclusion in Spirit of Southern Association (SSB) - 96.3% agreed on this proposal (78 flat owners out of 81 participants) 

·     Sharing amenities with other housing societies during the inter-complex sports events - 88.9% accepted this proposal (72 flat owners out of 81 participants)

This sports carnival is going to be full of positivity, exuberance, and detoxification as we step forward to welcome a fresh new year 2021. We shall see this sporting carnival merely not as an event for fun or for victory, rather as an airy flow of positive vibes between all of us. Let this sporting spirit, this power of enthusiasm washes away all our frustration and pain we have had during this year of pandemic. Let this carnival set the foundation of a new culture of 'WE CAN, and WE WILL' in years to come.
