Formation of Internal Committee for POA Matter***

Dear Sugam Residents,
The current Board of Sugam consists of 10 members, of which 2 are POA holders. As we are all aware, it was quite a struggle to form this new Board due to a scarcity of willing members coming forward to fill nominations. This situation indicates that in the future we may face challenges in securing sufficient participation, owing to factors such as age, availability, and other constraints in effectively running the Board.
As discussed during the last AGM, it is important that we now move towards formalizing the right of POA holders to join the Board and incorporating the same within our by-laws.
We are proposing the formation of an Internal Committee comprising 5 independent members. The recommendations of this Committee will be considered final, and will be proceeded with incorporating the necessary changes into the by-laws accordingly. This Committee will be responsible for formulating the rules and guidelines governing the eligibility and inclusion of POA holders as Board members.
