Hence we should start processing our mutation immediately. We have enquired the cost and the requisites for the same as follows----------------------

1.       Demand draft of Rs 14,000/, to RAJPUR SONARPUR MUNICALITY , payable at Kolkata for property value more than Rs 20 lac(applicable for most of the flat owners).

2.       Cheque Rs 1000/ to SUGAM SABUJ RESIDENTS WELFARE ASSOCIATION, for processing the same and to meet contingency/unforeseen expenses during entire mutation process.

3.       Photocopy of registration deed (both side) duly signed by the flat owner.

4.       Copy of Completion certificate (society will provide)

5.       Mutation form (society will provide), duly signed by flat owner.

6.       Declaration in a stamp paper of Rs.10/- duly signed by the flat owner (society will provide)

7.       Updated tax receipt (society will provide)

As informed by the municipality, those who are unable to sign in the form/declaration due to any reason can provide POA to near ones for doing the same on their behalf.

Please consider this as advance information for your convenience.  Those who are interested to do bulk mutation arranged by the society, are requested to submit above mentioned (1,2,3) requisites on  25^th January 2014, in our next general meeting at community hall as already informed to you all by Mr. Shirsendu. Based on your readiness, society will prepare other documents as needed and get the same signed by the individual flat owners on the same day.

 

As informed by the Rajpur-Sonarpur municipality we need to complete the entire mutation process by March-2014, otherwise quarterly tax expenses will have to be cleared before mutation (just as done by Sugam till last quarter).

Thus it is requested that with all your support we need to complete our mutation by 8^th February 2014, to avoid further cost as suggested by Rajpur Sonarpur municipalty.

We appreciate your efforts in arranging the mutation and would be very happy to get this done with others in a group. We will arrange to send the following documents by the 25th Jan as requested.

We stay in Dehradun and I am sure that there are many others who live outside West Bengal. It will help us if we have some idea of when we are required to be personally present.  We have some queries which I  am marking in red. We request you to clarify these.

 

1.       Does the owner have to sign the photocopy on each page of the registration deed?

2.       Can we send the signed registration deed along with the DD and cheque by courier and then come just before the camp? I think this depends on whether you will be submitting the papers in advance or during the camp.

3.       If we submit the papers on the 25^th/26^th and sign the other prepared documents on the same day, do we need to be present on the day of the mutation camp?

4.       Since we will have to travel from outside, can you advice us what would be the best time for us to be in Kolkata so that the process can work smoothly?

 

We would be obliged if you could give us an idea so we can plan our travel accordingly.

Please do reply to this mail. I think Mr. Savandeb Chatterjee is right.  Do check and restate the correct spelling for the draft so that none of us make a mistake.

 

Those of us who are outstation will have to get the draft made today or tomorrow. I will be in Kolkata just for the meeting and signing the mutaion documents and will return to Dehradun on 27th.

To All Concerned,

We are getting several emails regarding documents/fees etc. for mutation. I am forwarding the email sent on 5th Jan, 2014 on the same subject for all those who want to do mutation in the 2nd lot.

Further, for people residing outside Kolkata/WB and unable to come physically may send their complete mailing address so that mutation form & deed can be sent to them for getting necessary signatures. Cheque amount will be Rs 1200/- (for sending within India) and Rs 2000/- (for sending abroad) in these cases instead of Rs 1000/-.

May please communicate for any further requirements.
