Sharing the controversial song, many on social media demanded action be taken against the BJP MLA for the provocative act. AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi retweeted a tweet that demanded that the Hyderabad police take action against Raja Singh. Owaisi also went on to tweet that in the last few days Hindutva mobs have provoked violence in several places. He named these places in his tweet and spoke about about calls for genocide and rapes made against Muslims by Dharma gurus. The Chitradurga district administration has issued an order banning singing and playing of Hindi songs and also other songs that may disrupt communal harmony during the Ganesh Shobha Yatra, Ganesh Utsav and Ganesh idol immersion processions till October 1, 2019.

Hence, that Hindi song and also other songs that disrupt communal harmony have been banned in public places during the Ganesh Shobha Yatra, Ganesh idol immersion procession and Ganesh Utsav in the district for 15 days. Meanwhile, members of Hindu outfits carried out a bike rally on the streets of Chitradurga on Thursday. The bike rally was launched by MLA G.H. Thippareddy.

Hundreds of people took part in the yatra, which began from a temple in Sitarambagh and passed through different areas in Goshamahal, the Assembly constituency represented by Raja Singh. Every year, Raja Singh organises Ram Navami procession from his residence and then it merges into the main Shoba Yatra.

Not only have the rallies grown in strength, there is a new addition to the bikes and saffron flags: songs of hate, which speak of killing and humiliating Muslims. Spread through YouTube and other online platforms, these songs have found a massive audience among young Hindu men.

After being released on bail, Bahar had vowed never to sing such songs again. The graveyard song, however, is available on YouTube again. Uploaded by a user called M.s. Manish Official, it has 22,000 views.

On April 2, such songs had been blared out of a sound system rigged up on an open vehicle. Sonu Prajapati was driving the vehicle, and a technician called Ravindra had been hired to operate the sound system.

The Karauli district administration is now trying to make up for the lapses of April 2. A special investigation team has been formed to examine the violence. Indoliya told Scroll.in that he had deputed the team to probe the various songs and slogans heard at the rally.

The trail of communal violence started with Ram Navami processions and has now spread to many parts of the country till Hanuman Jayanti. There is need to understand the pattern of this violence. Be it in Jahangirpuri, Khargone or Bhagwanpur -- the pattern is the same that in the yatras, songs and slogans abusing Muslims are played in front of mosques. The yatra stops in Muslim-dominated areas, thereafter arguments start that turn into violence.

Hyderabad: After a break of two years, because of the corona pandemic, a colourful Shobha yatra was taken out on the city streets in a grand manner by the Bhagyanagar Ram Navami Utsav Samithi on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Sunday. The yatra was started at 1.30 pm from the historic Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple, Sitarambagh, after chief guest Acharya Sunil Shastry from Ramanuja Sampraday, and Bhaskar Yogi, performed puja of Sri Rama idol placed on a trolley. The Utsav Samithi leaders arranged vehicles with idols of Lord Hanuman, Bharat Mata, Shivaji, Basveshwar, Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi. The yatra passed through Dhoolpet, Puranapool, Jumerat Bazar, Chudi Bazar, Begum Bazaar, Siddiamber Bazar, Gowliguda, Koti. It concluded at a public meeting at Hanuman Vyayamshala. Several smaller rallies, including that of Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh, TRS leader Anand Singh also joined the main yatra at Mangalhat- Puranapul stretch.

The yatra reached Vyayamshala at around 9.30 pm. Several organisations had set up stages to welcome the yatra along the procession route. Several philanthropist organisations and individuals provided drinking water, butter milk packets, cool drink packets to the participants. A huge model of Ram Temple in Ayodhya was placed near the Puranapul area as the passersby clicked photographs. There was heavy police 'bandobust' for the rally, which passed off peacefully.

Notably, this festival is celebrated in accordance with the Gangaur festival in Malwa-Nimar. On this occasion, the family members unite and worship the goddess by singing and dancing to various religious songs. In the end, a grand farewell is given to the goddess.

On the auspicious occasion, people enact dance-dramas based on the life of Krishna according to Bhagavata Purana, sing devotional songs throughout midnight and fast through the day. The most noteworthy celebrations take place in Mathura and Vrindavan, besides other parts of the country. A prominent ritual which requires forming a human pyramid, known as dahi handi, is also synonymous with the celebrations. The person on the top breaks an earthen pot which is placed at a significant height. Temples are decorated and devotees pray on this auspicious day.

In the evening, grand Shobha Yatra of Maha Ganapati, Kartik and Dharma Saastha was taken out in Bistupur area to the accompaniment of Nadaswaram by PKM Ravi and party. Women devotees also rendered devotional songs and performed traditional dance during the procession.
