Getting ready for forum tomorrow

Hi Comrades,

I will be moderating the forum at the Starry Plough tomorrow and I need to tie up a few loose ends. Sorry this is so late but I have been out of town and thought that these details would have been covered  by others.

First of all there are four speakers so we need to set a time limit of 15 minutes for your opening remarks to allow ample time for floor discussion. During that time you will have chances to speak again. You will also have time for a brief wrap-up at the end. I cannot give you a set time for that because it depends on whether or not we have a lot of speakers lined up from the floor and ZOOM, and how much the venue needs us to clear out.

I generally introduce the speakers with a bio of a few sentences. I have bios for Larry and Bill but could use a few sentences from Clare and Daniel. Otherwise all I have is your ID from the (corrected) flyer.

Please arrive by  1:50 so that we can be settled and order the speakers by 2. We have a pretty tight time limit at the Plough.

Just a FYI .  Actually the details uou mentioned Had been covered by me to Daniel Tutt .  I told him that each speaker most likely would have 15 minutes each . Then I explained how the floor discussion worked . That it wouldn’t be just Q and A but a genuine discussion.  And that each speaker would have a five minute wrap up. And BtW I asked him for bio details and that’s all he provided .  ( Now he might want to add that he running for Co chair of the East Bay DSA because , among other reasons , some of the 2000 plus voting members of the East Bay DSA may be in the audience).  Stan W

FYI. Marsha , Actually I did explain to Daniel Tutt everything you mentioned.  Including a brief bio . Thats all he cared to provide .  Though since he is running for East Bay DSA Co chair of the. And since there may be some of the 2000 plus voting members in the audience he may want to mention that .  I just wanted to clarify .  See you’ll tomorrow.  Stan W. PS.
