current status of Suds flyer - lots of blanks/brackets

Pasted in below are the current contents of the Suds flyer as I've assembled it from the various bits of information I've been able to extract from various emails and the meeting recording.

I've put brackets around everything that needs more information.

I copied Steve's draft blurb verbatim, and got the title from the discussion at the meeting - I opted to keep "Seize The Time" as it all fits on 2 lines, which is the requirement for this template.

Here it is so far - please give me the information to fill in:

PS. Tx Dave C . But one correction . It would be a speaker from the Communist caucus of East Bay DSA. . Not DSA as a whole .  The other caucuses could have a proverbial shit fit if he/ she was misidentified

Aside from filling in "Communist Caucus of " before DSA, I've gotten no further information to fill in the brackets in the leaflet. I was hoping to get more info at tonight's meeting, but no such information was provided.

I'll continue to wait for the information I need to fill in the leaflet. I hope the people who read this will get that information to me soon - like, in the next couple of days.

Just to spell it out in case it's not plainly obvious what I need (it should be):

1. I need Larry Shoup's title/role at Bay Resistance (he sent his whole bio, but none of it was relevant to this)

2. I need a name for the United Left Platform speaker.

3. I need more than just "United Left Platform" - the speaker's title/role & perhaps the participating org they're in, something to flesh it out

4. I need a name for the DSA/Communist Caucus speaker

5. I need the speaker's title/role and/or anything else to flesh that out.

I have tried repeatedly to get a commitment from a representative

of either Workers Voice, or Tempest or Speak Out

(all in the ULP and with a presence in the Bay Area). with no success.

 

   Therefore, by default , I will speak.

You can list me as a member of Solidarity ( and on its national committee) 

and of the Tempest Collective, and will give a brief description

of the other organizations in the ULP (and the joint activities 

we have undertaken, including a presence at the Socialism conference).

I plan to reflect on how this may relate to DSA (of which I am also a member)

Of course, we will also have a speaker from one of the left caucuses in DSA.

ps: I will double check with Larry Shoup today, on how he wishes

   to describe his involvement in Bay Resistance.
