Qilimanjaro is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to lead our Platform Squad - a small, high-impact team responsible for the infrastructure that powers our quantum computing stack. 

 

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will own and drive the vision, roadmap, and execution for our internal platform capabilities. Your mission is to manage and maintain the on-premise and cloud infrastructure, following the DevOps methodology by enabling scalability, reliability, and productivity through the development of internal tooling, APIs, infrastructure components, and shared services. 

 

The Platform Squad is a team of 2 devops engineers, managing:
- On-premise servers (located in our server room and quantum lab)
- AWS Cloud infrastructure (EC2, RDS, Lambda...)
- Internal services (like Slurm and Grafana)
- QaaS APIs (written in Python)
