Dear fellow Savoyards,
We received this email from Shawn Cannon, the founder and director of the Cannon Theatre in Littelton, where we presented Maid to Order last month. She is looking for actors for an upcoming production. Please take a look and, if you're interested, contact Shawn directly.

I am in desperate need of an man or woman, aged early 20s-late 30's, to play the pirate captain Bill Slank and also Hawking Clam, a native, in the fabulous Tony winning show, Peter and the Starcatcher! This is a play with three music numbers, so the person just needs to be able to carry a tune. We need someone who can do a Pirate accent, as well as a Caribbean accent, and rehearsals are on Mon., Wed. nights and Sat. afternoons for two weeks, then will be on Mon,'s, Thurs.s, nights and SAt. afternoons. The show opens on Oct. 28 and plays for 4 weekends, Friday, Sat.'s with one matinee on Sat., Nov. 5 at 1:00 and one Thurs. show on Nov. 17th. Rehearsals start next Monday night, Aug, 29 at 7:00 pm, at The Cannon Theatre, 410 Great Rd., Littleton. Please have them contact me, Shawn, at sca...@thecannontheatre.org or call 978-448-2108.
Synopsis: PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, by Rick Elice, is the most hilarious-filled evening of madcap fun! In this 5 time Tony Award winning play, a dozen brilliant actors play many unforgettable characters using their enormous talent, ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of imagination. This swashbuckling grownup prequel to Peter Pan will have you hooked from the moment you let your imagination take flight. Check out the You Tube previews from the Broadway version with Christian Borle! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZj5yj8SDBA
Bill Slank/Hawking Clam: (Mid 20s - Late 30s--MALE OR FEMALE) A vicious Captain without the skill or quality to lead anyone but himself, and always into disaster. Also plays HAWKING CLAM: Son of Fighting Prawn and Princess Sweetnsour Prawn. Must have an excellent British pirate and convincing Caribbean accent. VOCAL REQUIREMENTS: Bass/Baritone
Thanks for helping me out by posting this with your members or letting people know!!
Cheers,
