Sing Gondoliers with NEGASS on March 22nd

Dear All, 

In case you haven’t seen this yet via The Trumpet Bray, NEGASS emails, or Facebook, NEGASS will be having a sing of The Gondoliers on Sunday, March 22 at 3:00 PM at the Park Avenue Congregational Church, 50 Paul Revere Road in Arlington MA.

We are still in need of folks to cover the following roles:

Marco Palmieri, Venetian Gondolier (tenor)

Francesco, Venetian Gondolier (tenor)

Giorgio, Venetian Gondolier (bass)

Annibale, Venetian Gondolier (speaking role)

 

Fiametta, Contadina (soprano)

Vittoria, Contadina (mezzo-soprano)

Giulia, Contadina (mezzo-soprano or soprano)

Inez, the King's Foster-mother (contralto)

If you are interested in a role, please submit your request to s...@negass.org. There are no rehearsals or auditions.  (Please note that casting will give priority to current NEGASS members.) 

Everyone is invited to play the Chorus of Gondoliers and Contadine, Men-at-Arms, Heralds, and Pages. Bring your own score or borrow one at the event. 

Admission is free; donations are always welcome.

The venue is one block from the Park Avenue stop on the #77 bus from Harvard Square. There is also ample free on-street parking.
