Organization located in the greater Sudbury area requires an IT
Development Manager to oversee 5 to 10 programmers and developers and
delegate out to ensure the smooth progression of IT goals and functions.
CHALLENGES OF THE POSITION:
Able to handle and delegate all user requests and select the proper
specialists for each task.
Deal with addition of staff (from interview to hire, train, appraise).
Great problem solver.
EHS functions.
WHO YOU ARE:
College or University graduate - B.Sc., B.A., or diploma or certifications.
Experience with accounting/ payroll software.
Project Management, computer operations background - and familiarity
with AS/400, web, Windows.
Diverse programming knowledge.
Able to deal with vendors, negotiate and manage contracts.
Be the 'go to' person for everyone - customers and IT employees alike,
and able to think out solutions as required.
Handle all reporting, resources, new technology, assets.
This is a challenging management function in a dynamic environment,
calling upon your unique leadership skills.
Desire to live in Northern Ontario, enjoying the peace and beauty of the
surrounding countryside, near one of Canada's famous Great Lakes. Low
cost of living area, great for young families.
This is a permanent position, with relocation possible.
