Thavaru Trust Get-together on 21 Feb @ Hassan

Dear Dr H K Palaksha,

Thank you for the call on Satruday, 23 Jan, inviting Sudatta for the Annual Get-together at Hassan, planned for 21 Feb 2016 at 10 am. You mentioned that your plan included :

• counselling the adoptive parents - about 85 couples, with whom Tavaru Trust has placed children for adoption, are invited and you expect about 40-odd to be there
• blood donation camp

As suggested over our call, you may also want to invite a few prospective adoptive parents for counselling, besides having a separate session for "Telling / Sharing" for the adoptive parents. This is one crucial activity for all adoptive parents, especially for parents with younger adopted children - aged 1 to 5 years - other parents who have not yet told their children about adoption, may also join and benefit from this session. We had actually planned one such session in Bangalore, coincidentally on the same day, but as you have informed your group already, we will postpone our session and be a part of your event. I have requested Dr Saraswati, and this mail is copied to our Executive Committee for information, should any other EC Member also want to join. I will confirm the final list of persons coming on 21 Feb, by the first week of Feb.

Sudatta is very pleased to be associated with the Thavaru Trust and to have the opportunity to share our experiences in parenting and other related issues with a larger Family, now in and around Hassan, too.
