It's been more than a year since @torbjornaxelsson introduced Bumper to this group.  Since it was introduced it seems the community has expanded with more interest in Ecovacs robots, but development stalled on Bumper.  I'm relatively new to the Ecovacs community, but have a keen interest in self-hosting the server for a number of reasons.

Similar to Sucks, I initially just wanted support for my D901 model.  However, I quickly realized there could be more done with how Bumper was implemented initially.  After adding support for the D901 and creating a PR, @torbjornaxelsson decided I should take over development of Bumper in my repo moving forward.

So let me "re"-introduce Bumper to you.  Bumper is a self-hosted server for Ecovacs robots.  A number of major changes have occurred in Bumper with more to come, but I thought it was time to bring Bumper up again.  I wanted this mailing list to know there is an option for those that want a self-hosted alternative to the official Ecovacs servers that works well with Sucks.

You can find the new location for Bumper here: https://github.com/bmartin5692/bumper
I welcome anyone interested to assist in development and help push the project forward.
