We are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with strong serverless, Kafka, and backend development experience to lead cloud initiatives and mentor team members transitioning from on-prem to cloud.

Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (Senior Level)
Duration: Long-Term Contract (C2C)
Location: Dallas, TX (Local Candidates Only – Hybrid, 3 Days/Week Onsite)
Interview Process:
1 Round – Microsoft Teams
1 Round – Face-to-Face (Onsite)
Experience Required: 12+ Years (Mandatory)

🔧 Must-Have Skills:

✅ 12+ years of IT experience
✅ Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Serverless focus – Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, etc.)
✅ Solid experience with Apache Kafka
✅ Strong Python development experience
✅ Working knowledge of Java
✅ Ability to lead, mentor, and guide engineering teams
✅ Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset

⭐ Nice to Have:

✔ Experience working with Southwest Airlines (SWA)
✔ Familiarity with CCP and other SWA technologies
✔ Experience mentoring teams moving from on-prem to cloud
