Hi,
I have a problem with repo-broswer and checkout with TortoiseSVN(1.7) over VPN(IPsec). For example when I want to check-out repository, all begins OK, but after few seconds(sometimes 10 files, sometimes 20, 50) speed drops to 0 Bytes/s and everything stops. In this moment I can not ping server with SVN server, or anything else. But when I close checkout window after few seconds everything is OK. Other SVN actions allways works fine(update, commit, revision graph, log), also I can download files from shares,... The only thing which does not work over my VPN is really SVN repo-browser and checkout... communication with SVN server on LAN without VPN works fine.
Please help me.
Thanks

Hi,
thanks for advice. I tried it(with 1300, 1200, 1100, 1000) but with only one effect. SVN browser stops as usual after few second, but when I wait about minute I can use refresh and it works for o while. And this repeats.
Hmmm I have no idea what to do.

Hi,

this looks to me like a Cisco based VPN. (At least, that’s where I saw this behavior)

Try to set the MTU on your machine to 1400 bytes (should be at the default of 1500) and try again. Possibly, if it still doesn’t work, retry with 1300.

Does this help?

Cheers,

Ulli

I am having the exact same issue. The checkout would start and then it would error with some kind of xml parse error etc.  Did you ever found a solution?
