Hi All

I have installed CollabNet subversion 1.6.6, everything seems fine but I can not see footer "Powered by Subversion version 1.6.6" if I open the server URL in IE or Firefox. Does somebody have any clue what I am missing ? or it has to be confiured somewhere ?
Thanks for pointers in advance!

The signature is no longer displayed if the Apache httpd directive
"ServerSignature off" is specified in the conf file. Since this
directive tells Apache not to advertise its version (or even that it
is Apache) we decided to do the same.

Thanks Mark for your quick reply, I put the "ServerSignature on" in httpd.conf and restarted apache but still it is not showing up.

The default is On. So you should not need to add the directive. I
suspect you still have a directive somewhere that turns it off that
you missed. For example, see this repos which still shows it:

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/

The default is On.  So you should not need to add the directive.  I

you missed.  For example, see this repos which still shows it:

I checked this on other repository which shows the signature..but as you mentioned there is no such directive in httpd.conf (as you mentioned and still it shows).
In other configuration the httpd.conf file server is using there is no other "ServerSignature" directive at all. Is there other way how this can be checked or verified ?

  Thanks.

From what I know, the Powered by shows unless the conf of the Apache
server includes that directive.

Are you using a custom XSLT stylesheet with the SVNIndexXSLT directive that disables (or rather, doesn't have rules to display) this footer?

I noticed a couple of my own SVN servers also do not have the footer
(or the directive). I will try to find out why and maybe resolve it
for 1.6.next

No Ryan, I am not using custom stylesheet SVNIndexXSLT directive at all.

Thanks
