The tolerability of supplemental iron in the chelated form of bis-glycino iron II was compared with that of ferrous sulfate in a randomized, double-blind, cross-over trial. Both iron formulations were prepared to deliver 50 mg elemental iron in each capsule; the capsules for both formulations were identical in appearance and weight. Each supplement was taken once daily before breakfast for two weeks. The incidence and severity of adverse side effects were not statistically different for the two preparations. However, of the 38 women evaluated, 14 (37%) experienced moderate-to-severe side effects only while taking the sulfate formulation compared to eight (21%) who experienced similar side effects only while taking the chelate formulation; the remaining 16 women had the same symptom profile with both preparations. This tendency for the chelate to be better tolerated was observed for the symptoms of bloating, constipation, and nausea. In addition, a significant (P less than 0.05) number of women preferred the chelate to the sulfate formulation. This preference appeared to be related to the lower number of side effects experienced with the chelate.
Background: Iron-deficiency anemia has been associated with lowered scores on tests of mental and motor development in infancy. However, the long-term developmental outcome of infants with iron deficiency is unknown, because developmental tests in infancy do not predict later intellectual functioning.
Methods: This study is a follow-up evaluation of a group of Costa Rican children whose iron status and treatment were documented in infancy. Eighty-five percent (163) of the 191 children in the original group underwent comprehensive clinical, nutritional, and psychoeducational assessments at five years of age. The developmental test battery consisted of the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence, the Spanish version of the Woodcock-Johnson Psycho-Educational Battery, the Beery Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration, the Goodenough-Harris Draw-a-Man Test, and the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency.
A Bear Bryant-era contract to keep the game between the two teams in Birmingham was in question; Auburn's Pat Dye insisted the 1989 Iron Bowl be played for the first time in Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium. As a compromise, he allowed the 1991 Iron Bowl to be played at Legion Field, Auburn's final "home game" in Birmingham.
Judgement ISF, Crown was the horse of a lifetime. From the moment he was born, throughout his incredible international show jumping career with legends Michael Matz and Beezie Madden in the irons, as a breeding stallion producing Grand Prix winners, and as a retired celebrity, Judgement ISF was special. Last week, just three weeks shy of his thirtieth birthday, Judgement ISF, Crown, was laid to rest at his birthplace at Iron Spring Farm in Pennsylvania.
Judgement ISF made an impression starting at an early age. As a yearling, Gert van der Veen, the former director of the KWPN, declared Judgement ISF a true stallion prospect during the KWPN Keuring. Judgement ISF also went on to win the 4-year-old Stallion class at Dressage at Devon in 1995.
Matz, a World Cup Finals Champion, team gold World Champion and Olympic team silver medalist, brought Judgement ISF along slowly and thoughtfully. The program worked. In 1995, Judgement ISF won the IJF East Coast Finals. Judgement ISF continued up the levels with Matz and won the $60,000 American Gold Cup in 1999. Shortly after the 2000 Olympic Trials, Matz turned his focus to training racehorses and a new legendary partnership was born.
His last victory came in 2009 at the $65,000 1.5m Esso Challenge at Spruce Meadows. The venue was his favorite and he was named National Champion there on four occasions. Judgement ISF retired sound at the age of 18 after 10 years in the Grand Prix ring.
Numerous other sons and daughters successfully competed in the Grand Prix division, as well as in the amateur and junior jumper divisions. Daughter Wednesday Mornin was a two-time USEF Amateur Jumper Horse of the Year. Ghiradelli, Judge Not, Better Judgement and Judgement Call are all successful Grand Prix jumpers.

Prior to the District's acquisition of the land, it was the site of an iron manufacturing facility from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Cultural resources protected at the preserve include foundations of the blast furnaces and other structures from the dismantled factory.

The La Tene 'Arras Culture' in East Yorkshire is best known for its burials, including cart-burials, most of which were in barrows defined by square-plan ditches. Many of these were excavated in the nineteenth century, and it was not until the record was augmented by air photography in the 1960s that more cemeteries became known and available for excavation. This book records the excavation of 267 burials, including two cart-burials. Two different types of burial are distinguished: crouched, orientated north-south, and extended, orientated east-west. The range of grave-goods with the different types of burial varied also: brooches and sheep bones were common with the crouched burials, while swords, spearheads, tools, and pig bones characterised the extended burials. Several of the corpses had been speared as part of the burial ritual. The two cart-burials included a more varied range of artefacts, including decorated metalwork and the most complete example of a mail tunic from the entire Celtic world. They also provided a great deal of information about Iron Age carts and provoked a reconsideration of their reconstruction. Descriptions and catalogues of the grave-goods are augmented by full environmental reports on the human and animal bones, the textiles, the molluscan, pollen, and soil evidence, and the geophysical prospecting. Scientific and dating evidence is included, together with a preliminary statistical survey of the human bones.
Mine are similar to yours, not in as good of nick. Same pinning. Same ferrules. Half cord grips, but by Lamkin. Gold plus s400 shafts, story was they initially had s300s but the gold plus were breakable at the tips so s400 were then used. I understand the use of DG's came later. Not aware they were Miura forged but also don't believe my clubs are JDM's, not aware where they were forged.

I had two sets of these back in the day, the 91's were pinned like these and the '93 or '94 were not pinned. lost them a few years ago to a B&E but i still have the 1 iron. Amazing clubs i still dream about hitting.
The ban on the use of lead shot for hunting waterfowl was phased-in starting with the 1987-88 hunting season. The ban became nationwide in 1991. Nontoxic shot regulations apply only to waterfowl, defined as the family Anatidae (ducks, geese, [including brant], and swans) and coots. Nontoxic shot is defined as any shot type that does not cause sickness and death when ingested by migratory birds.
