Hello all -

I'm using Subtext 2.5.1.20 on my blog.

I recently had an issue with my blog and needed to revert back to an
older backup that I have on my PC.

I initially installed Subtext using WebMatrix and have the block and
images working properly. However, when I go to admin and export he
blog to XML file and then go to my live blog and import the file, most
of my image links are broken. The folder where the images are stored
is there, but it looks like the AHREF tag has the local URL of my blog
when it was on my PC instead of using relative URLs?

I.E., I'm using HTTP://localhost/myblog/images/... instead of
HTTP://myblog/images

How can I fix this?

I have 3-4 years worth of blog posts and most have images and almost
every one is broken... arrghhh

Also, does Windows Live Writer or Subtext do something funky with
images when you paste them into the editor versus browse out to a
file? Seems like most of the images that did get screwed up at some
point where the ones I simply pasted into WLW.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, because of WLW.

Would running update  subtext_content set [text] = replace([text], '<img src="HTTP://localhost/myblog/images', '<img src="HTTP://myblog/images') fix this issue for you?
