I would like to import data from some long dives profiles into subsurface.  Dives profiles are 6 to 10 hours and samples are every second so up to 36000 lines.  I successfully imported a short portion so I think I am doing correctly, but the application crashes when trying to import the large files.  Is there a way (different file format) to accomplish this.

The transformation for the import is mostly done in RAM, so a machine with more memory will likely have a better chance. Also note that there might be a difference between different operating systems in what sixe CSV they can handle before the application crashes.

What operating system and version of Subsurface are you using?

If nothing else helps, you should be able to split the CSV into multiple parts, and then splice the dive together into one in Subsurface.
