I am trying to convert the .json to something that I can import into subsurface. I have tried online tools to convert to .csv and I have tried using ChatGPT to get the data into the correct format. I can't get it to important the data correctly. Any thoughts or anyone that is tech savvy in this department that would be willing to help? I really only need mine from the first 38-40 dives as I switched over to subsurface and I have dive #40 on it.

Hi Kendra.
Without knowing what 'the .json' is and how it looks it's very hard to
make a statement on how difficult or easy this will be.

But note that .csv is probably not a good intermediary format, as it is
a simple list, whereas the .json is likely to contain hierarchical lists
of lists (like a list of depth samples within a list of dives). If you
want to have another go at doing this with ChatGPT, you might be more
successful if you asked it to translate into a well-documented format
that can be read by Subsurface, like UDDF:
https://streit.cc/resources/UDDF/v3.2.3/en/index.html This way it will
be able to consult the documentation to learn what the expected output
format is.
