Since the last update, 6.0.5112, i can't open /dev/tty.usbserial-00172423.

Plesae, see pictures to watch what happens.

Any Ideas to resolve the issue ??

Regards.

You need to enable the "Save libdivecomputer logfile" checkbox and send
the log file instead of those screenshots. Those screenshots don't give
us any useful info about what went actually wrong.

There is no problem opening the usb-serial device (the subsurface error message
is a bit misleading here). It's the communication with the dive computer that
fails, and I suspect you are running into the problem that is fixed in this commit:

https://github.com/libdivecomputer/libdivecomputer/commit/8745a3b95af66c630ff771012f24c46dbea137c2

You'll need to wait until this fix becomes available in a new subsurface
release, or temporary revert to the previous release where the bug wasn't
present yet.

Michael,

I'm afraid it ist not, at least not for me:

Subsurface: v6.0.5144.0, built with libdivecomputer v0.9.0-devel-Subsurface-NG =4F

This is _not_ a version > 6.0.5187 - you'll have to use a 'nightly' build for now, see https://subsurface-divelog.org/latest-release/.
