Failed to import from Divesoft Freedom+

Hi,

I tried to download the dive log from my freedom+. It made several errors.

Basic Details:

My subsurface build: 6.0.5357

My freedom+ hw revision:4.0

My freedom+ fw version:1.21.7 build 9599

 

Error 1: the subsurface can not found the bluetooth connect for my freedom+, while the divesoft.center can connect to it pretty easily.

Error 2: when I tried to import the .dlf file directly,  a red banner pop out at the bottom says "Unkown DC"

the dlf file is attached, which is just the log of device testing

If you need a log file, pls tell me how to when bluetooth might be unavaiable

Has there been any success with the Divesoft hardware? Currently I cannot load any dives either for the Divesoft Freedom+ computer or even the Liberty CCR. Currently having to use Wetnotes, which is really not great...

A fix for the file import is currently in review with the manufacturer
(https://github.com/subsurface/subsurface/pull/4538), so this shouldn't
be too long.

Not sure what is going on with the import directly from the device, have
you tried with a recent version of Subsurface?

Hopefully the manufacturer plays ball. Yes I tried it on 6.0.5404, but it was working fine for years, up until whichever Subsurface version came out around February 2025. That's the last time I was able to import a log file.

Michael I can confirm that the dive log import (both for Freedom and Liberty) is now working flawlessly.
