Hi guys,

I have an Aqualung i450T and would like to
download the dive data to Subsurface on MacOS.
Unfortunately I don't see what I have to do ...

I connected it to USB, but when I go on
"Import from dive computer" it offers me
only bluetooth ports!?
Looking in /var/log/system.log I don't see
any messages when connecting via USB.

Sorry but I am new to this and
would be happy about any help.

Best regards, Samy.

PS: It is MacOS 10.13.5 High Sierra and Subsurface 4.8.1.

Hello Samy,

Make sure you install the FTDI driver, then you will have the correct /dev/tty.usbserial-XXXXX

Aqualung provides a driver directly from their website, but I guess it should work with FTDI VCP driver as well.

Bump.  I have a similar problem, when i plug in, it shows that a FTDI driver is working but gives an error message on the subsurface app.
When i plugged into Diverlog lite, it connected and down loaded my dives.
I reloaded a new copy of Subsurface.  I redownloaded new FTDI driver from FTDI.  I also removed FTDI driver so OSX installed driver would take over.
This computer worked 1 year ago on same system.
