to Subsurface Divelog
I'm not sure if this is a computer specific question (in my case a Suunto Stinger) or a more general Subsurface Mobile +Android+OTG USB connection question so my apologies if it has been answered before.

The Questions
Has anyone successfully downloaded dives into Subsurface Mobile on an Android Phone from a Suunto Stinger via a USB (A to C) OTG connector cable?
If so is there anything that needs to be done beyond just connecting the computer to the phone, starting Subsurface Mobile and configuring the computer for data transfer?

Details
I just connected a USB (A<->C) OTG cable to my Android 13 phone.
I then plugged in the interface cable I (USB A to Suunto specific metal fork) that was bought from a company called "smartinterface" in Germany. The cable works well with the PC based version of Subsurface.
Immediately after connection I get a prompt on the phone asking if I want to run Subsurface Mobile which I answer with an OK.
Subsurface Mobile starts and goes directly to the download page.
I connect the Suunto Stinger to the cable, select it in the Menus and switch it to the correct "TR-PC" mode to transfer dive data. After a Rescan the Connection box offers me "smartinterface [2:2]".
I then start the Download and the message "Info: Starting import ...: appears.
I then wait until the Suunto times out with no data transferred.

Having tried this on several occasions I can report that Subsurface sometimes correctly identifies the Suunto's firmware (21) and its Serial but the oucome is the same. This seems to happen more reliably if I clear the Cache via Android Settings and force stop Subsurface.
