Exporting heartrate data from second (backup) dive computer

Hello,

Running SS Windows V6.0.5436-CICD-release.

Dive log has Shearwater Perdix 2 as the primary computer (1 of 2)

Gardmin Descent as the secondary computer (2 of 2)

I've tried selecting the garmin profile for that dive (2 of 2) and exporting using several different formats such as CSV computed panel profile data, or CSV dive computer dive profile, but regardless of what I try, it seems to be exporting the data from the Perdix 2 profile, which of course does not include heart rate data.

Is this a bug, not possible to do, or did I do something incorrectly? I have another program that reads all the data from the CSV, specifically the computed panel profile data, but I'd like to include the heart rate info in this which is recorded by the garmin and displayed in SS

Hi Ryan.

The CSV export functionality in Subsurface is hard-coded to only export the profile data for the first dive computer in any dive. So for you to get what you want is to rearrange the order of dive computers in your log. You can do this by selecting the dive computer you want to export from (i.e. the Garmin Descent), right-clicking on the dive computer name in the profile, and then selecting 'Make first dive computer':

After this the exported CSV will be from the Garmin Descent, and include any heart rate information that is present.
