Yes, you can bring your Mares Dive Organizer logs into Subsurface, though it takes a few steps because Mares uses a proprietary Windows database format that Subsurface cannot read directly.

Option 1: Import your existing Dive Organizer history

1. In Dive Organizer, go to Database → Backup and back up your logbook to the desktop. This creates a file like DiveOrganizerxxxxx.dbf.
2. Rename that file to DiveOrganizerxxxxx.zip. Open the zip (the password is mares) and extract the DiveOrganizer.sdf file inside.
3. Create a free account at https://www.divelogs.de and log in.
4. In divelogs.de, choose Import Logbook → Dive Organizer from the left-hand menu and upload the .sdf file following the instructions there.
5. Back in Subsurface, go to Import → Import from divelogs.de and download your dives.

Option 2: Download future dives directly

Going forward, you can skip Dive Organizer entirely. Connect your Puck Air to your PC with its USB cable, put it in PC communication mode, then in Subsurface choose Import → Import From Dive Computer, select Mares as the vendor and "Puck Air" as the model, and download directly.
