Update from Ration iX3M2 Pro to iX3M2 Tech+

Dear all,

I own a Ratio IX3M2 and recently upgraded it from the Pro version to Tech+. It worked perfectly with Subsurface while it was running the Pro firmware, but since upgrading to Tech+, the import/parsing process no longer works properly.

Subsurface retrieves the date and time of the dive, but the import stops there. No further dive data is imported.

Current version I am using is Subsurface 6.0.5704-CICD-release (updated yesterday) from the Linux Mint repository.

I have attached my subsurface.log file. Only the final dive in the log was recorded with the Tech+ firmware.

I was unable to create a dump file, as this does not appear to be supported by the Linux version I am using.

During the import, I selected the appropriate computer model from the available list (Ration Tech+)

Could you please have a look and determine what differs between the Pro and Tech+ data formats? In particular, it would be great to understand why parsing stops after the dive date and time, and why even the dive duration is not imported.

I can confirm you are running into the bug that was already fixed with this commit:

This fix is not yet included in any subsurface builds, but there is already a PR
open, so I assume it will become available soon:

The Ratio dive computers do not support memory dumps, so that's normal.

Thank you for this excellent information. I was just about to investigate further, provide some additional details and look into the parsing code, so it is really helpful that you have already addressed this.

I will wait for the new version to appear in the repository, though I may also carry out a few tests independently beforehand (:

Happy to hear that, I was surching and cursing sinds yesterday with the same computer and same update.

It worked perfectly before but now the same with 2 imported dives with zero dat exept for dat and time.

Is ther anybody how knows when this bug wil be fixed?
