Hi all together 🤙
I would like to realise the following. I have a Mares Puck Pro as a TC and to read out the Mares USB bracket for the PC. Do you know if I can also read the Puck Pro on my iPhone using certain cables to load the dive data in Subsurface? Or Would this possibly work via the Mares Bluetooth bracket? Does anyone have any experience and tips?

My goal is to avoid the annoying reading via laptop and charge it directly to the iPhone.

Best wishes and good dives to all
Ben

I have a Mares Quad Air and use the Mares USB adapter with my Windows laptop (& previously a Macbook Air) and the Mares Bluetooth adapter for pairing with my iPhone. I don’t have experience with the Puck Pro, but would guess that it works similarly. I don’t think a direct cable connection from dive computer to the phone exists.

Downloading dives works about the same to computer or phone, but I still edit additional dive info on the computer.

Hope that helps.

Apple is normally pretty picky about only allowing 'manufacturer
approved' hardware to connect to their iDevices - so unless there is an
iOS app from the manufacturer of the device (Mares) it is not likely
that it will be possible for any software on iOS to communicate with the
dive computer.
