Hello, I have requested to join for some time now and have not been accepted. I have a question about support for the SEAC Tablet DC...

No problem. 

Myself and a few others using SS have purchased tge SEAC Tablet DC but can't get the Bluetooth connection to work to download our diving data. 

I can see the DC in the list but the Bluetooth just drops out when you try to use it.

Hi Joe

Jef (from Libdive) and I are working on this issue. The tablet can be used with Subsurface via cable. However, BLE is still failing to implement SEAC. Even the in-house software has problems connecting via BLE.

According to last week's announcement, the manufacturer will release new firmware shortly. I hope that this will enable us to resolve the various issues.
In the meantime I have received a replacement computer from SEAC and could test it again.

However, my dry suit is being repaired and I have some family commitments, so I am currently unable to get into the water.

I'm sure we will certainly be able to integrate the tablet via BLE soon.

Thats fantastic, sound like it's been a bit of a problem for you!
