RedBare CCR export to subsurface

Morning everyone,

I just found SubSurface via the O Dive app and course with Phil Short at IAN TD. I've used a Suunto Eon Steel Black so far to input dive profiles to link with the O Dive bubble analysis. However, I dive a RedBare CCR, which has it's own download software and can export csv data files. I'm also an instructor trainer for this unit. I'm very keen to find out how I could import data into subsurface and link from there to O Dive. Are there any friendly developers who could help please?

Subsurface does support importing CSV logs, so there is already a change that that part works. There is some info on how to configure the import in our user manual. https://subsurface-divelog.org/documentation/subsurface-4-user-manual/

I am not familiar with RedBare CCR or its log/export formats, so you could just test out how well the import works, or if there is some CCR related data that is not currently imported. Just let me know if the CSV import works for you or not. I am also interested in seeing the native saving format of RedBare, depends on what it is like, it might make sens to add direct import to subsurface.

I also have not even heard of the O Dive app or bubble analysis before, so would need some information about that/those.

CSV import is already supported - have you looked at the user manual?
Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are asking for?
