Hi,

I'm having an issue with downloading my Perdix dive logs into subsurface.

I setup the Perdix as a device and it was assigned COM5

When I try to download it I receive the message unable to open COM5 Shearwater (Perdix)

I've also tried selecting the Perdix from the bluetooth download mode and receive a similiar error (but an empty log file)

It doesn't work with the Shearwater desktop software but that's more and issue on my side (i'm assuming)

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks.

Regards

Raoul

Make sure your Perdix is in download mode.

Next step is probably to try to re-pair your computer with your Perdix. That will show if its a link-keys problem or a general bluetooth problem.

Hi Anton

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, the Perdix is in the download mode (countdown).

I've tried it again and now I don't receive any feedback

Thanks

Have you tried removing the bluetooth pairing between your divecomputer and computer, and re-pairing them again?

Hi Anton,

Yes, I even tried pairing it to my laptop both with and without the dongle and both times subsurface does nothing (no error message).
Shearwater desktop also crashes on my laptop if you're wondering.

Thanks

Then we can probably conclude that its probably a windows issue, which I can't help you with.
