I just started using a Scubapro Aladin Sport Matrix, which seems to have some support for direct importing in the latest builds (as I saw in another recent forum post). I'm also interested in importing dive logs from the Scubapro's official LogTRAK software (which is unfortunately almost unusable). It can't export to any easy format, of course, but I think it might be somewhat straightforward otherwise? In any case their database seems pretty simplistic.

What I've discovered so far is that their exported dive log format is binary, but the software internally stores the logs in a text based ".script" file that has some binary strings in it. A friend said it looked like SQL. I've attached a zip file including the internal database along with what the software exports.

Cheers,
Sam

Yes, the .script file is actually the file where HSQL database apparently keeps it data. The binary stuff within the file most likely contains the dive profile and related information. Can you also provide a screenshot of a dive in logtrak software? Figuring how the profile data is stored will require the knowledge of e.g. dive duration and some idea of the real depth profile.

This format is totally different than any of the other logs that we import, so I'll have to give it a bit more thought than other imports... Anyway, first thing is to decipher the binary blobs in the file and then write the code to parse it  :D

OK, cool. I just got back from a dive and filled in a bit more information in the LogTrak app. I've attached the new database, exported .asd file, and 3 screenshots of the program showing the different screens of the program.
