I am running Subsurface version 5.02 using cloud storage online on a Windows 10 Pro based laptop. Since a few months, I guess upgrading to Subsurface 4.9.8, my Scubapro Aladin Matrix H dive computer exhibits a “Dive data import error” during bluetooth import. Before that, import for the Aladin Matrix worked flawlessly. As far as I know, nothing changed in my laptop’s configuration. Since then, I have upgraded Subsurface to versions 5.0.0, 5.0.1 and now 5.0.2.

Since then, I have tried to run the bluetooth import on two other Windows 10 Pro devices, one is a brand new laptop with a clean install of Subsurface, followed by loading the dives from cloud storage online. On both devices I get the same error. Importing dives from my Uwatec Galileo Sol – my primary dive computer – over infrared works flawlessly. As a workaround, I have resorted to importing the Aladin Matrix H’s – my backup computer’s – dives via the Subsurface app on my iPhone. Typically, the dive data of both computers is then combined nicely into a single dive. Sometimes I end up with two separate dives, which I can then can combine easily in Subsurface.

I have tried re-pairing bluetooth connection with the dive computer. I have also tried setting Subsurface bluetooth mode to Auto, Force classical and Force LE. The log files consistently show two errors: “Failed to receive the packet”, followed by “Failed to receive the answer”.

Does anyone know how to fix the issue that I am experiencing? Thanks in advance!

The same problems happened to me since I updated the Aladin Matrix. After the firwmare upgrade released by Scubapro the download process failed. I'm using Subsurface 5.0.8.
I temporarily solved donwloading the dives on my phone and syncing the divelog via cloud.

Really glad if someone has news about that!
