Hi everyone
I recently replaced my Samsung A53 smartphone with a new A56. On the A53 the Mares Genius was recognized as a Bluetooth device and therefore acquired by Subsurface with which it was possible to download diving in the subsurface. With the A56 the Genius is not recognized as a bluetooth device (and this also happens for other devices such as Garmin's Venu2 smartwatch).
The owner programs (Garmin Connect for the Venu) and the Mares app for the Genius, however, reconconconces and interact regularly with the related devices. Subsurface connects to the Genius by activating the Bluetooth option, but is strangely identified and the connection does not work, as you can see from the screenshot attachments.
How can it be resolved?
Thank you
Giulio

In the screenshot, you're trying to connect to a bluetooth device that
isn't your dive computer. Based on the name "MY CAR", that's a car! So
no surprise downloading dives doesn't work.

The reason why your dive computer isn't found is probably this:

I suspect you didn't give subsurface the necessary permissions and
therefore it can't perform a bluetooth discovery and only shows you
paired bluetooth devices.

Well,'m happy!
I activated the position and now the genius connects and downloads perfectly.
In fact, the Mares app compulsorily requires the activation of the position before connecting. Perhaps a similar functionality even in subsurface could be useful!?
Thank you
Dear greetings
