We’ve recently received a high volume of requests for an updated Shearwater third-party developer package, particularly since the release of Swift GPS. We are currently preparing an updated package that includes Swift GPS support and other information. We plan to issue the new documentation to verified developers soon, and we’ll contact you directly as soon as it’s ready for distribution.

I am still keen to get information about the following for Shearwater dive computers:
- a way to distinguish logs produced by a DiveCAN CCR controller from logs produced by a dive computer with analogue CCR sensors connected- the log format extension used for dive computers with the Avelo dive system
- the log format extension used for the new tank sensor with built-in GPS

Thank you for getting back to me.
That's curious. Our importer is designed to support new dive modes, it just displays 'Unknown dive mode' in this case.
But the import is not working in a satisfactory way for our users with Avelo dive systems and Shearwater computers - is it possible that a new header was added that contains details of the Avelo system, or something similar?
Maybe you could ask your developers to have a look at https://github.com/subsurface/subsurface/issues/4623 and see if they can spot what is wrong, and potentially comment on it?

I reached out to one of our developers who has worked on the Avelo project, he said there's almost no change to the Avelo details other than the mode is different. The sample values for depth, etc are the same.

Hi Ivan.
The Subsurface dive log team recently received feedback from a user
using a Shearwater computer with an Avelo dive system. Apparently the
log format is different to the default Shearwater format when diving in
this configuration, and as a consequence Subsurface can not properly
