Hi Guys

Love the software and I was just wondering if there was any way to remove some (but not all) of the ‘previously used dive computers’ so I can tidy up the screen

I have a few too many of these now and would love to be able to remove some without having to forget them all and then re-pair the ones I continue to use.

(Android 6.0.5404 running on a Samsung S23Ultra)

Best Regards

Andy

Hi Andy.

No, there is nothing in the mobile version to allow you to do this - with the limited UI capabilities and the complex way we are doing our mobile UI, no developer has put in the effort to implement this. Sorry.

I know he doesn't want to re-pair computers, but if that housekeeping desire ever becomes overpowering, wouldn't deletion of the app clear those remembered computers, such that they wouldn't return upon reinstall? My theory assumes they are not sync'ed with the cloud logs.

On the desktop version you have a wastebasket on each computer button that lets you delete the individual computer.

That sounds perfect ... I'll take a look
Presumably it only removes the computer and not the dives. Does this also carry through to the mobile solutions?

It only removes the computers, not the dives.  Sorry, but I don't download using the mobile app so I don't know.

Apologies, turns out I was not explicit enough in my last reply. There is a way to 'forget' all dive computers in the Settings in the mobile version - just not individual ones:

Uninstalling and reinstalling the application will 'forget' the dive computers as well, but it will also 'forget' all of your settings, and require you to re-synchronise your dive log with the cloud (assuming you have synchronised it before uninstalling).
