Current user (meloli) is in the dialout group :
meloli@portable:~$ id meloli

The problem is the same when runing as root.

Thank you for help !

Are you sure you set the dive computer type to suunto vyper air? The error message looks like subsurface thinks it is talking to an ostc

You are right : I didn"t clic on the Suunto Family on the left.

But now it doesn't work again : after 6% I get the "failed" message.

You need to select both "Suunto" and "Vyper Air". I think you selected the old Vyper model instead of the Air one on your attempt.

Where can I select this ?

I've only the "Famille Suunto Vyper" choice.

(See the joined file with my printscreen please)

Thank you.

That's not the download screen, that's the configuration screen (and
there is no Vyper Air configuraion).

Go to "Import" and "Import from Dive Computer" to download dives (or
just do ^D, which is the keyboard shortcut). Then choose "Suunto" as
the vendor, and you'll see a list of a lot of Suunto dive computers
(including "Vyper Air").
