Beginner questions (probably easy ones, lol)

Hi everyone,

This is probably very easy, but is there a way to only import new dives that have happened since the last "import from dive computer" was done?

I dived today (at last, lol) and can't find a way of getting those two dives imported, without pulling in every dive the DC has ever been on (most of which aren't mine, as I bought the DC secondhand).

I also can't save (or load) files. File --> Save As creates an xml, but File --> Open doesn't see it and won't open it. 

File --> Export does not do anything at all. 

How on earth do I save the dives?

This happens automatically - only dives newer than the _last dive in the log_ will be imported. But this also means that all dives will be imported if there are none from this dive computer in your dive log yet.
After the import you can delete all the dives done by other people, and leave only the two that you did in the log, and it will work from there on in.
