These version numbers are so thrown off it's almost comical now :)

Regardless, I've put a bit of work into Substruct over the past few
weeks and I'll be readying a release soon. I'm going to attempt to
clean up some more code - but if you feel like downloading the SVN
trunk and giving feedback that'd be excellent. Here's a list of what's
been going on.

Nobody said anything about patches they'd like to see rolled in so I
didn't even sweep the issue list this time around. If there's a hot
issue on there that needs major attention please let me know.

I'm still trying to work out migrations with Rails 2.3, but that might
be a candidate for a v1.2 upgrade.

VERSION 1.1 - 02/10/2010
---------------------------------------
Added:
1. Affiliate tracking & payments
* http://code.google.com/p/substruct/wiki/HelpAffiliates

Updated:
1. Upgraded to Rails 2.1.2 and latest ActiveMerchant plugin
2. Ensured you can run autotest from the vendor/plugins/substruct directory
* All tests are passing
3. Refactored a lot of the test code. Original tests got the job done,
but the style and clarity needed updating.
Will be sweeping through these to clean up as needed.

Upgrade steps:
0. Edit your config/environment.rb file,
* Ensure RAILS_GEM_VERSION is set to 2.1.2
1. rake rails:update
2. rake db:migrate:fix_engines_migrations
3. script/generate plugin_migration
4. rake db:migrate

...Seems nobody cared to pipe up so I packed a new release.

Thanks Seth.. It's not that we don't care, really  :)

Forgot to mention in the changelog there were RSS feeds added for the
blog and shop sections as well.

cool.
One of these days I plan on committing the patch that allows for
many-level tags, but no rush there.

Which patch is that and how does it effect the administration UI?

It's been awhile, but looking at my own site that has the patch
applied, "Manage tags" allows you to drill down to any depth, and
applying tags shows the different depths separated by a line.

I am using a version of this patch as well. Works well.

How do you both go about displaying it on the front end? Originally I
believe I limited it because of a UI constraint.

See, it holds up for about 2-3 levels...but anything past that is
going to be horrible. Which is why I originally limited it to 2.

As programmers love hierarchy and trees, but the comprehension and
understanding of it for your average consumer / web surfer is very
low.

As programmers "we" love hierarchy and trees even. Stupid me...

I suppose we could add a message to the admin that says "NOTE more
than 2 levels are not displayed by default" or what not.

I could do that if desired or what not.

So ok to merge in or hold off?

Thanks.
