Feature request: paragraphs in list items

Would it be possible to support having multiple paragraphs under a list item. For example:

1. First item

2. Second item

   This is a paragraph that still belongs to the second item.

   There can be as many of them as needed.

3. Third item

For some reason, almost no WYSIWYG editor, except for fully-fledged, awkward-to-use word processors, supports this feature!
