This is my first Veto pro pac tool backpack, i do industrial and commercial hvac and refrigeration. This bag fits all of my tools i need to do my job. The design of it is perfect. I have had multiple other tool backpacks but this one by far beats them all. I definitely will now be sticking with Veto pro pac bags
Awesome bag. I have had the MB2 for years and use it everyday and it is still in good shape, just decided to upgrade to the MB5B. I love the bag and the V swap is a cool feature. Thanks for making the bags strong as my old bags would only last months!!!!!
Upgraded from a TP-XXL love the space for a meter on the side. Plenty of room inside. Back pack straps are the only downside to this bag. They are very uncomfortable. The straps dig into your shoulders. Hopefully with time they will break in.
As someone who works on board military ships, particularly in fixing radars, finding a tool bag that accommodates the necessary equipment and suits the unique challenges of ship environments is paramount. The Veto MB5B tool bag has been a worthy companion in this regard.
In summary, the Veto MB5B tool bag is a reliable companion for professionals like myself who require efficient tool organization and mobility in demanding settings. While it may not be perfect for every scenario, its strengths far outweigh its limitations, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone needing a dependable tool bag.
***I wanted to update my previous review now that I have spent more time with my Veto bag! I made a comment in previous review I want to correct! I had uncomfort with bottom of bag comming into contact with my back, mainly because I had the straps tightened up so tight I could barely get the bag off myself:) I loosened up the straps and let the bag be lower on my back. Not a problem anymore, and I can get the bag off of me quick!
I have only come to love this bag more and more each day I use it. The bag never falls over, zippers are superb quality, and incredibly strong material. Again, this is my 14th Veto bag and I have never had any damage occur to my bags and I beat them up. I even drove over my TP-XL with my Van by accident and you could barely tell!! It also protected my tools in that event. Specifically my expensive Bluetooth Refrigerant Probes. Veto saved me some money there!
Im an electrician and this is the best tool bag ive ever had! It holds all my tools with so much extra room i even add space to put a 12volt drill in the front pocket the sides are helpful to put in extra tools you dont use very often and the side mini pouches are good for my drill tap set and other drill bits! Worth every penny and I highly recommend it
Would be nice if there were a stiffer thin pad right above all the way along the base on the back side to prevent the base from coming into contact with your back by creating some more space between you and the bag. Like I said, I corrected the issue by simply inserting some rags (which I need with me anyway) into the rear compartment typically used for Tablet storage.
A new addition to the Veto Pro Pac family, the TP4 is the big brother of the TP3. Holding more tools, allowing for more room, and keeping techs satisfied by the amount of quality that goes into making this pouch their go-to for the small jobs that don't require their larger tool bags.
The TP4 from Veto Pro Pac is a clip-on diagnostics bag designed to hold a meter and a variety of tools. When not in use it can clip onto any model Veto tool bag?s tape clip or D-Rings. It features 20 pockets of various sizes including bit pockets, vertical long shank pockets, a detachable rubber handle and other features that will accommodate the most commonly used tools to diagnose and repair problems on service calls.
With 46 pockets inside and out, the Tech Pac has ample room for hand tools, meters, parts boxes, cordless drills and impact drivers, as well as other bulkier items such as manifold gauges, hoses, cable wires and even a tablet. The backpack features an innovative quick release handle that allows easy access to the larger tool bay compartment and reduces the strain on the shoulder straps unlike any other backpack bag.
The TECH PAC is also made for comfort with a thermo-formed EVA padded back panel that helps cushion the load (which also provides structural stability), a padded load displacing shoulder strap system with multiple adjustment strap points and an ergonomic TPV rubber grip.
Selfishly I bought this bag so I could get the free SB LD bag from the spring promo but also always wanted this backpack since I heard about it 5 yrs ago. I have to say loaded with basic tools and maybe a drill and meter no heavier than kliens backpack but tons sturdier. Also the d rings and drill bit pockets keep you from hunting the bottom of bag for bits . I think so of the complaints of being to heavy is hauling around every tool you own. I have surgery on my neck year Ago and have no problems with it bothering me. Proud of my purchase. Also like the free bonus bag thanks
I was fed up with other bags they never seemed to work. They were always a mess and i could never find anything in them. This bag is amazing all your tools have a place you can find them easily. I wont be going back to the other brands. once you get over the price shock it is worth it. you wont be disappointed.
I own the Tech LC, TP-XXL, MB4 and have previously owned a Tech Pac MC. I loved all of these bags, but not nearly as much as I love my Tech Pac. It really is the best tool bag I have ever owned. It fits every tool I might need on a daily basis and a few more. I work on everything from residential and commercial forced air systems to commercial steam boilers and hydronic systems so I have a wide variety of tools I always need at my fingertips. This bag has far superior organization as compared to any other brand. I use my other bags as secondary for install and plumbing tools that I only use once in a while. Veto Pro Pac definitely filled a need in all trade-oriented industries, as I have owned nearly a hundred different brands of bags throughout my career and none of them come close to the quality that Veto provides. I highly recommend any of their tool bags.
For years I held out on buying a proper back pack. I went through other brands yearly. Finally I went through 2 Fluke packs in 2 years and decided enough was enough. The quality of the Tech Pac is apparent from the first time picking it up and was clearly designed by someone who has spent time in the service trades.
The only regret I have, is not buying the Tech Pac a long time ago.
Thanks Veto

This is the first of 3 Veto products I purchased and I am again highly impressed. This bag has every accommodation I have wanted in a tool bag for HVAC/R work. Very well thought out placement of tool holders and compartments, expandable pouches and truly heavy duty materials!
I am happy knowing that there is a manufacturer that makes True Heavy Duty tool bags and I will share far and wide in hopes that they stay in business for a long time.
At the company i work for we all do hvac installs and service, i was the last one on our crew to get one and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Vetos quality and storage compartments alone make it the best bag i have ever used and it is so much more comfortable than my old milwaukee bag. I highly recommend giving this bag a shot
I had the V1 Techpac, and my only concerns were the bit storage pockets were small and not very useful, and I felt they could have added more pockets/dividers. I had some stitching on the shoulder strap begin to come undone, and Veto promptly replaced the bag with the new version. The V2 version solved all my complaints, and really showed me that they listen to feedback from their customers and greatly value customer service. I LOVE VETO PRO PAC!
SIMPLY THE BEST!
Ive used husky bags, Klein bags, milwaukee bags and Veto is lightyears ahead of any brand available. Theyre construction site tough and can handle any beating you throw at them.
I can fit way more than i thought possible in the bag AND i have room to spare! The intuitive design is heaven-sent for an electrician and I cant believe ive gotten on this far without it. Thank you so much, Veto Pro Pac. You have a customer and advocate for life.
