I'm trying to print out a PowerPoint that my teacher has up on our class website. The thing is, the PPT has 45 slides. So, I want to be able to print it in handout format (3 slides per page). With my printer, I don't see the option for PPT handouts. Can anyone help? Thanks!

*Also, When I print out PPT's it comes out backwards. So, instead of printing from the first slide to the last, it prints from the last slide to the first. I'm basically looking athe the pages from bottom up, instead of from top down. Does anyone know how to fix that?*

For the multiple slides option, that is going to be dependent on what the program you are printing from will allow you to do. If the program has the option to print multiple slides per page then you will usually find the option by going to File and then Print or File and then Print Preview. If the program does not have the option then you may need to download and print from a different Power Point viewer and print from that viewer instead.

The issue isn't so much with printing from to back. What's happening is, when I print PowerPoint slidses, the slides themselves come out in reverse order. So, when I'm looking at the slides on a printed page (this time around I printed 2 slides per page), I would see Slide 2 first, then Slide 1, and so on. So, I end up lookng at things from bottom to top, instead of top to bottom. Is there anyway to fix that?

As for the slides being in PDF, you won't be able to adjust how many slides are shown per page, as PDF files are by definition uneditable. The best you can do is adjust the number of pages that print out per sheet of paper. You do that by going to File and Print, and then select the number of pages to print out per sheet.

If you see a line that says Status: Connected, then the printer should be connected to the network. If it does not say Connected then click on Settings, and Wireless Setup Wizard to connect your printer to your network.

At this point if your printer is still not appearing in the list of networks that means that either the firewall/security settings are too high on your PC or there is a network setting that the printer is having a hard time resolving. If you contact your internet provider or whoever provided you with the router, they can assist you with doing the following:

Without some additional information (such as OS and printer model including PDL used such as PostScript, PCL, etc.) and posting a sample PDF file that exhibits this problem when printing, there is precious little that anyone here (or anywhere) can do to assist you.

Adobe would not let me print the document as a PDF to my desktop, but told me to save it to file, so I saved it as a document. However, I don't see any option to attach it here, and I couldn't even drag and drop it as a screen shot.

Hi Scott. Try opening it with Preview. Right click on the file and use "open with" and select the Apple app that comes with the OS called Preview. Print from there. I have see Adobe DC do this same thing to random files I save out as a PDF from Sibelius. And I do mean random: I save out all my sheet music using the exact same font set, sizing and workflow. If printing right from Preview doesn't do it, try exporting it from Preview as a TIFF file and then open and print that. You can try with Preview or any TIFF reader. I know that defeats the whole purpose for a PDF file, but perhaps a lesser scientist than Dov at Adobe will emerge to keep the format relavant to musicians.

Thanks Bill! Finally this problem is solved. Thanks to you. I've searched for a solution everywhere and I don't think I am alone. I really hope that I can continue printing score sheets that I have developed in Sibelius from Adobe Acrobate in the fututre, but now it doesn't look so due to the very low engagement Dov at Adobe seems to have in this matter.

Hello all, I now have this same problem - just started a few months ago. No idea why! But I tried your workaround using Preview>TIFF and this has not worked for me - I even tried converting to jpg and of course to no avail. Am I perhaps missing something? I am on Apple Mac.

I agree with the frustrated Sibelius users below who can't print their pdf files of their music. This is the result I get when I try to print from my iMac through my HP Officejet Pro 6978. Fortunately, Staples is able to print them okay, but at home? No can do, and don't have time to seek a solution right now as I am writing a huge show with a deadline within a few days. Needed to vent here for the time being.

I have exactly the same problem. No note heads when printing. Very little help from Adobe. I have a Hewlett Packard Laserjet Pro. It seems that engaging with any kind of computer technology these days is an endless, frustrating porocess of problem solving. I will try the suggested work arounds. Thanks!

The Outline prints only the text in the slides, without images. The Notes of a presentation show the slide and the related speaker notes below it. If you choose to print Handouts, you can print several slides on one page using a variety of layouts, some with space for note-taking.

You can turn off this option in the Print dialog box on the same menu where you chose to print Handouts. At the bottom of the menu are several toggle options with check marks. Clear the check mark next to Print slide numbers on handouts:

Next to Destination, click Change to choose a printer. Set any other print layout options you want, such as which slides to print and one-sided versus two-sided printing. (Available options vary by printer.)

Under Orientation, choose the option that matches the orientation of your slides. Set any other print layout options you want, such as which slides to print and one-sided versus two-sided printing. (Available options vary by printer.)

We're a service based business so our field technicians like paper copies of customer records. The Hubspot CRM tool is so incredibly powerful yet the lack of this basic feature is a huge hinderence. When I try to print the browser window, Hubspot condenses the print area far too much as well so that's not an option either.

A general print function is imperative to detail and review with outside sources/employees/Team members the entire converstation, notes taken etc even as a form of documentation is certain instances. It doesn't seem like printing to PDF should be a hard function to implement.

As cute as writing with Sharpies is, I'd like to print the findings from some user interviews onto sticky notes for affinity mapping. My reasoning is that printed characters are more reliably readable than handwriting. And if we've already typed our insights, I want to leverage them! So, are there any known ways to use a laser printer or similar to print onto sticky notes?

Since I have had glue from sticky notes and envelopes melt in my laser printer before, I would advise a different approach. (This is also helps with the fact that most larger laser printers I have seen won't print on anything smaller than 8.5 x 5.5 inches (half letter, approx A5 european size).

Print whatever it is you want to print, cut it out, and apply Removable Restickable Glue to one edge of the back of each cut piece. (That link is to 3M "Scotch" brand, but there are several other brands and you can find it at most office supply stores.)

Make a blank Excel sheet, and use the border tool to put borders around all the cells. Then, adjust the cell height and width so that they are exactly the height and width of Post-It notes. This will likely take some trial and error. Once you have it, print the sheet. You should end up with a piece of paper that had a blank grid on it.

Next, type in each cell what you want to appear on the Post-It notes. Carefully stick your Post-It notes on the paper, lining them up with the grid lines. Load that sheet into your printer and when you print the Excel file, you'll have beautiful printed Post-It notes.

Description: Rules & Routing is an Output Management tool that automates print and workflow behaviors according to predefined criteria. With this feature you can easily create and manage the routing of documents across your environment with rule-based automation, leading to increased efficiency, accuracy, and reliability in print and workflow tasks. Rules & Routing enhances control over all outputs and behaviors within a print environment, like routing all specific document types to a particular printer or rerouting a job in case of a device outage.

Print-Problem seems to be fixed with new web client version v10.2.1 (at least in Chrome and Vivaldi): Printout now delivers more than one, just all pages - even including (rendered) copies of (pdf-) attachements...

When I started this issue I was using my desktop (w10 pro) at work. While checking the new web version later at home also with w10 pro the issue seemed to be fixed. Today again at work the problem continued with Version 10.2.2..
