I started the content business by working for Microstock Agencies and Freelancing Platforms. Well, I chose CrazyTalk Animator 3 because it is the perfect software for everyday people, like me, that need to produce animated content in a very limited time and that have to to take care of different aspects of designs from character design to sound design. The output quality is outstanding and the workflow is smooth and customisable. CrazyTalk Animator 3 is just the tool I have been waiting for a long time!

In my work I use Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Logic Pro on a daily basis. Most of my production requires vector illustrations. I usually like to sketch with Photoshop using my tablet, and then work on my final pieces in Illustrator.

One thing to mention is that after learning the tool I decided to check out the Reallusion Incubation Program, which gave me the push to become a CTA3 developer. The program is really great as I could apply to get the tools for free, along with direct Reallusion support, and even early funding for my projects!

When I first started working, creating content with digital technology was not a part of the process. However, now I constantly look for ways to merge traditional design techniques with digital design tools!

With overwhelming support from my mother, I kept very busy developing my skills in visual arts, music and photography. While in primary school, I discovered comic books and fell in love with the simplistic styles of art that expressed so much power and energy to tell a story.

I have always found the internet to be an invaluable resource for locating interesting software to help with many creative endeavors. So, I began searching for something that would help streamline my workflow and speed up the process from concept to delivery.

Aside from being able to purchase content within the Reallusion Store to add more capabilities to a character, the CTA3 software also allows me to create my own library of custom movements and other assets such as props and accessories.

After using CTA2 for a while I became familiar with it enough to rely on it in daily production. When CTA3 came out with the ability to import character designs from Photoshop, it was like a match made in heaven.

In addition to CTA3, I also use Moho Studio Pro [formerly known as Anime Studio].
Depending on the tasks, sometimes I might use the software packages in conjunction with one another because of how well I believe they complement each other.

One of my first long animations (with Anime Studio) that was over 2 minutes, involved a piece that was not created for a client or students. It was a short holiday story created for my daughter. I wanted to test how quickly I could output a piece of work from concept to completion within a limited time window.

The attire will constantly be changing and there will be approximately 8 to 10 main characters in addition to less important. For many years, this project has had to wait on the back burner because the team vision was a bit ahead of the tools needed to create something that would represent our talents without producing something that was of substandard quality.

Now technology and a talented team with be working together to produce many exciting creations in the near future! So stay tuned!

I thought I was doing nothing more than reflecting on the changes that had been happening in my life, sharing a bit about what I learned with a handful of friends. I thought those tinkling of computer keys would fade into the void, as most of my thoughts had before that.

Most of the graphical issues being reported relate to Intel's graphics chips, especially older ones, which are not best suited for animation software. For these types of integrated graphics cards it is important to have the latest graphics drivers installed to get CT7 to work without issues.

CrazyTalk is developed and marketed by Reallusion, a company that has a software and digital content development base in California and Taiwan, with offices and training centres in the U.S., Germany and Japan.

When Reallusion began as a company back in 1993, it first started developing full motion capture systems for real-time applications. During the first stages of development the company originally ran into issues on how to capture both; body animation and facial animation without having to do post production of either. So engineers at the company created a small hardware device that would allow them to puppeteer a character's facial expressions in real-time during the body motion capturing process. Reallusion soon decided to create an in-house software application that could replace this handheld rig. Here is where CrazyTalk first took it steps as an internal software script for company use only. Some time later, Reallusion demoed the application to the American technology company Kodak, at a New York show. Kodak immediately took a liking into the software and chose to work with it in several marketing campaigns. From then on CrazyTalk was born.

By default CrazyTalk comes with a collection of usable, template-based content and projects that allow animators to begin animating upon installation. Content includes characters, props, animations, auto motion templates, audio scripts, special effects and demo projects which can be further customized for specific needs.

Another source for CrazyTalk content is the Reallusion Marketplace which provides a worldwide platform for independent content developers to promote, trade and sell content with CrazyTalk users from around the world. The currency in the Marketplace is known as DA (Direct Access) points which can be used to purchase content packs or redeemed for real cash. Currently, 100 DA Points are equivalent to US$1.

Alright here me out! I work in mental health as a COTA right now working 5 - 8.5 hour days making decent money. I like where I am, but, I really would love to either work part time or simply work the same hours in a shorter time frame for better work-life balance.

I want to have more control over my time and have considered working part time or doing contract work, but I really need insurance. I enjoy the idea of working 3 -12 our days, with the ability to pick up as needed, in addition to the variety of settings CNA's can work in. I figured that after I get experience, I can earn probably the same or more as a COTA, and I'll have an extra skillset. Do I sound ridiculous for wanting to do this?

To be clear, I don't want to leave OT, I think I just want options and to work the same amount in less time and still be in healthcare. Even if I'm not actively working in the field, I will continue to keep my license, so that I can still practice. Any thoughts on which route I should take?

Very unhappy with this product, scant instructions, for the price horrible support. I a, very unhappy that Daz sells without a better explanation on what is rxactly needed to make it work. I was able to install it, but the product is substandard. It seems that it works on Genesis 9 well, but got Genesis 8.1 not so much.

I like to mentally invoke a memory of the time when I was particularly exhausted: I was working as an intern on an extraordinarily busy Medicine service at San Francisco General Hospital. I had been getting three or four hours a night of sleep and was completely drained. My resident paged me at 4 AM to tell me that there was a tricyclic antidepressant overdose patient in the emergency room and I should come down to deal with this interesting case since she knew I was interested in psychiatry.

If you come up with an example of a time when you were exhausted emotionally in your own mind and use the example to help you stick to your commitment to not be interested in crazy talk you will find it is possible to change how you respond. And you will find that your disinterested or detached response discourages that behavior.

If you've ever longed for sapphire-coloured eyes, or wondered how you would look with a mouth full of shark teeth, you'll get a real kick out of tinkering with the advanced facial settings. The range of customisation options is truly impressive, and features 24 types of eyes, 24 sets of teeth, and the ability to adjust the size, placement and colour balance of each. The results veer pretty far away from realistic, and occasionally enter the realm of nightmares, but the experimentation process is inherently enjoyable.

The nose wiggling and mouth moving is mesmerising, but things get better with the addition of voice. Clicking the Script tab loads a library of preset emotions and actions, and presents three options for speech -- you can import a WAV file, use the text-to-speech function, or record your own audio using a microphone or line-in source. The lip synching isn't all that precise (the much pricier Media Studio edition of CrazyTalk allows you to allocate lip positions by vowel or consonant sound), but mouth movements generally match the audio. The software uses Microsoft's text-to-speech engine, and comes with a default voice that could pass for HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey. If you don't fancy sounding like a low-pitched, monotonous male robot, Reallusion offers a set of 19 voices for free download on its Web site.
