ISSUE IN SUBJECTPLUS 4.6 VERSION IN CPANEL

Dear Team,

We have encountered that the login credentials are not showing in the front page of Subjectplus after installation. 

We are using cPannel as a cloud server, Subjectplus version 4.6.

Issue: After installation, the front page is opened, but there are no login credentials.

Kindly help us it's very urgent.

Hello,

After installation, to access the backend you should add /control to your URL. Then you should be able to log in with the credentials you set up.

Since you already run the installation, the URL should just be /control or /control/login.php. Then you get the form to enter credentials. 

Your screenshot shows the installation URL.

When ever I use the URL  https://libguide.iimbg.ac.in/control/ login.php    it automatically takes to the   https://libguide.iimbg.ac.in/control/install.php

Kindly help me in this regards

Hello,

 

I recommend you create a new password using a MD5 generator such as: https://www.md5hashgenerator.com/

 

You should make it complex and at least 15 characters. 

 

You’ll have to update the password in your database manually using a database management system such as MySQL Workbench or DataGrip.

 

Also, the new version of SubjectsPlus has been developed but we have not released it yet. 

The new version was tested during Fall 2024 in a production environment.  

This semester we are creating an Installer and Updater so that the new version can be distributed.

 

We hope to have the new version ready for distribution in Fall 2025.
