Hi Kaitlin,
Unfortunately the importer was from version 1 of libguides. I don't think there's any hope with it working for version 2, since that is completely different :-(
Even doing the import from version one was quite problematic, because their export xml was iffy.

Hello,--I'm currently testing out a migration from libguides (v2) to subjectsplus (4.0.3), but seem to be having issues. I saw in another thread that this was more of an experimental feature, but was wondering what the current status of this feature is. Also, does it work with libguides v2?I also noticed that the documentation is out of date, so I might just be missing a step somewhere!I've attached a screenshot of the errors I'm running into when I try to upload the xml. Thanks!

Kaitlin,
I'll send you our LibGuides v1 XML dump off list so you can see how it is formatted. One of the problems with the XML export from LibGuides is that it isn't necessarily valid
XML. After we downloaded our XML, we needed to open it in Oxygen and make corrections to make the XML valid. There can be problems
in it like unescaped ampersands that will break the importer.
Because SP and LibGuides are totally different software products the importer isn't perfect! We successfully
used the importer at UM, but the process also involved a great deal of manual clean up of the results that pulled
in folks from across the library.
It may be less time consuming to copy and paste content into new guides unless you have a massive amount of LibGuides.
