My apologies the screen shot with the error message did not come through.
The error message reads as follows:
The extension is not supported.
Below that is a checkbox with the text Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs and an OK button.

Hello Collective Wisdom,
We ran an earlier version of Subjects Plus on an externally hosted server for a while just to play around with the software. We were able to upload images without any problem.
A few days ago I had the university IT folks set up an instance of Subjects Plus v. 2 on a server that they run for us. I migrated the mysql database over without any problem and I copied the user files from our old SP implementation.
One of the librarians has run into a problem with uploading images through CKEditor. (I tested with my own login and the Super User login and experience the same problem)
Here are the steps she (and I) have tried:
From within an existing guide
click on the image button in the CKEditor toolbar
select the Upload tab and browse for the image that needs to be uploaded (a jpg in this case but also tried a gif)
click on the Send it to the Server button
and get the following error message

I checked the list of supported file extensions in the admin area and jpg and gif are included so I'm stumped as to what to do next.
Are image files for the guides still being saved in the individual user folders? I don't think this has anything to do with the problem but thought I'd ask.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your for your help.
