I am interested in using the subjectplus platform in its version 5, is it possible to download it?

I have seen that no updates have been released, will the project go ahead?

Hello,

Thanks for your interest in the new version of SubjectsPlus 5. We are currently using it in production this semester and having our subject librarians test it in a real world environment. We plan to roll out another instance for our medical campus next semester. 

Currently, the code is not available for download, it is in a private repository. Before we can release it to the public we have to create an installer. The first iteration will involve an upgrade to an existing installation of version 4.6. The following iteration will be for a green field installation.

In regards to timeline, I cannot give you a concrete answer. There are numerous milestones that must be achieved before we can release it to the public, including security testing. I understand it's frustrating to wait, but our team is working as fast as we can to create a quality product that can be distributed.

Hi, 

This is Rupinder Singh from Central University of Punjab. 

Taking inspiration from your library, we are also planning to have a subject gateway for our library, and we found Subject Plus as the perfect choice for this. But the current available release is only 4.6 which is old, and we are encountering some issues after installation (Like theme layout breaking after installation) 
The official site says that SubjectPlus 5 is the latest release and is out now, but we could not find the source to download it.

Could you please help us locating the source / repository from where we can download SubjejctPlus 5 source code, for installation at our University library. We would really appreciate your support and guidance.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the layout breaking. Do you have any error logs that may help to reveal the root cause?

In terms of SubjectsPlus 5, it is currently being tested at the University of Miami. Before we can release the code we have to develop an installation and update script. We hope to have that ready by the end of this semester.
