English Translation of Al-Quran

[64] Surah At-Taghabun [Mutual Loss and Gain]

Ayat 10. But those who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and denied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they will be the dwellers of the Fire, to dwell therein forever. And worst indeed is that destination.

Tafseer of Surah Al Taghabun Ayat 10. But those who reject Faith and treat Our Signs as falsehoods, they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein for aye: and evil is that Goal. The worst place to stay and with no comfort never incessantly.

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Ibn Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, “Jannah is nearer to anyone of you than your shoe-lace, and so is the (Hell) Fire".

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah At-Taghabun Ayat 10. “They will be the dwellers of the Fire, to dwell therein forever. And worst indeed is that destination” Going to Jannah or Hell is the result of one's own actions, both are close to everyone. One will be admitted into Jannah if he does good deeds, and will be consigned to Hell if he does evil. After death, one's entitlement for Jannah or Hell will be decided.
