English Translation of Al-Quran
[36].Surah Yaseen [Yaseen]
Ayat 34. And We have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein.
Ayat 35. So that they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks?
Tafseer of Surah Yaseen, Ayat 34. And We produce therein orchard with date palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein: Date palms and vines stand as symbols for fruit trees of all kinds, these being the characteristic fruits of Arabia . Grain was mentioned in the last verse; fruit is mentioned now. All that is necessary for food and the satisfaction of the choicest palate is produced from what looks like inert soil, fertilized by rain and springs. Here is wonderful evidence of the artistry and providence of Allah. Ayat 35. That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks? Literally, eat (akala). Cf. 7:19 and 5:66. The same wide meaning of profit, satisfaction, and enjoyment may be attached to the word "eat" in verse 33 yesterday. Man may till the soil and sow the seed, but the productive forces of nature were not made by man's hands. They are the handiwork and artistry of Allah, and are evidence of Allah's providence for His creatures.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Any matter of importance which is not begun with Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) remains defective.''
[Abu Dawud Hadith # 4840]
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Yaseen Ayat 35. “Will they not, then, give thanks?” There is another Hadith to the effect that every important work which is not started with the invocation "Bismillah'' is devoid of Allah's Grace, it is desirable to begin every good work with the Glorious Name of Allah and His Praise.
| Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Fajr and Asar |
| Abu Hurairah raziallahu anhu reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, "There are angels who take turns in visiting you by night and by day, and they all assemble at the dawn (Fajr) and the afternoon (Asar) prayers. Those who have spent the night with you, ascend to the heaven and their Rubb, Who knows better about them, asks: 'In what condition did you leave My slaves?' They reply: `We left them while they were performing Salat and we went to them while they were performing Salat.'" (Bukhari and Muslim) |
